The Young Lives Foundation (YLF) is an independent children’s charity dedicated to delivering quality services tailored to achieve effective outcomes in the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in Kent. Not only is Clive President of the charity he is also a very active volunteer. Listen to the show to find out more about the foundation, why Clive had devoted his time to volunteering to help young people and how you might want to get involved either volunteering, fundraising or donating. Every penny raised is spent on the frontline.
The Institute of Directors holds a big charity fundraising black tie event each year and next month their event will be raising money for The Young Lives Foundation. This is on 19th November at the Hadlow Manor Hotel and there are still a few tables left if you’d like to join in. There will also be an auction at the event, with the foundation’s Clive Emson doing what he does so well. At £55 (+VAT) per ticket, the event has all the ingredients of a great night out whilst at the same time supporting such a worthwhile cause. You can find out more or book online here.
