Broadcast on Thursday 4th July 2019. My studio guest was Stephen Elsden, Chief Executive at Compaid, a charity providing support to over 1,800 disabled and vulnerable people every year to overcome the barriers of social, digital and economic exclusion.
Listen to the show to find out what inspired the founder to start the charity in 1986 when computers were first becoming popular and how the charity has moved to not only providing computer support but their fleet of 22 vehicles transporting people across Kent to appointments but also to attend courses at the Compaid training centre in Paddock Wood.
