The Community Radio Show #175

By | December 18, 2018

Broadcast on Thursday 29th November 2018.  Our guest interview was with Eleanor Hevey, Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager at the British Red Cross talking about loneliness.  Loneliness is a big problem in the UK, not just with adults but young people are also feeling the effects of loneliness in their lives.  Andy Ross also spoke to us as he found himself feeling so isolated after being discharged from hospital and on the edge of ending it all.  He then met a Red Cross volunteer who helped turn his life around.

Listen to the show to find out more about the subject and also what the Red Cross are doing to help those suffering the effects of loneliness.
