The Community Radio Show #130

By | December 7, 2017

Broadcast on Thursday 7th December 2017.  Our studio guest was John Handley, Chief Executive at The Bridge Trust – providing life changing services to homeless people.  Homelessness is generally associated as a problem in our cities across the UK but each year in Kent there are hundreds of people who do not have a home and are forced to live as sofa surfers or even sleeping out in their cars.  They are able to support to single homeless adults who are not seen as a ‘priority need’ and therefore outside of the help of local authorities.

Listen to the show to hear how the charity provides support and how you can get involved either by way of donation or volunteering your services to the charity or even taking part in the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon in February 2018 (they have some free spaces available) or joining in for a quiz night.
