The Community Show #84

By | December 8, 2016

Russell Burton-Lawrence in the Channel Radio StudioBroadcast on Thursday 8 December 2016.  We were joined over the phone by Caroline Arnold, Director at Bore Place, home to the Commonwork Trust and the Commonwork Organic Farm.  Listen to the show to hear about the special programmes they have to support disadvantaged and vulnerable young people to develop their skills and confidence in order that they can become independent and get the much needed work experience to move them into employment.  You’ll also find out about the magic of Bore Place, how it teaches school groups about sustainability, where our food comes from and how to cook it.  There is a huge variety of courses on offer to teach anyone who would like to learn new something new, covering arts and crafts, cooking, astronomy and so much more.
