Broadcast on Thursday 14th January 2016. Our studio guest was Juliet Shand, Trustee at Erb’s Palsy Group UK, the only UK based organisation offering advice, information and support to families affected by Erb’s Palsy – a condition mainly due to birth trauma which affects movement and feeling to an arm. Whilst Erb’s Palsy is not as common as other conditions, it can be helped if recognised and treatment is sought early on. Juliet and the charity fundraise in order to raise awareness and organise outreach programmes to help more people with the condition.
The Erb’s Palsy Group are currently organising a Family Fun Day for families and those affected by Erb’s Palsy and need your help. They are looking for donations of the sporting variety that they might be able to auction to raise funds to continue with the fantastic work they do.
