Broadcast on Thursday 1st October 2015. Our studio guest was Paul Barron, Director of Kent Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs. Listen to the show to find out about this unique organisation (they have researched and not found another like it in this country) that helps and supports young people wishing to start up their own businesses or those who are looking to grow their businesses. Paul and his team travel across Kent to meet up with potential entrepreneurs as well as business people willing to volunteer their time to mentor the young people and help them get started.
Celebrating 30 years next week with “A Blast” event, some of the young business people who have been supported by the foundation will be showcasing their businesses to 200 business people from across Kent. Hurry up and register though as space is nearly booked up at this massive business networking event. The Foundation do receive financial support from Kent County Council but still need to find a significant amount of money to keep supporting the future of Kent and hold various fundraising activities throughout the year.
