The charity cover Kent, South East London and Sussex and is one of the biggest hospice charities in the UK. With an army of 1,000 volunteers they are able to help 650 families each year. Listen to the show to hear Ryan talk about the services the charity provide, how you can help, and why the fact that more children are requiring their services compared to when the charity started 20 years ago – and that’s a good thing!
There are so many ways you can help and get involved in supporting Demelza so they can continue to provide the support to children and their families in need. Even picking up a bargain in one of their many shops or donating your unwanted items helps. There are so many challenges and events you can take part in or you can arrange your own event on behalf of the hospice and they can provide you with support for doing that. CEO Ryan will be doing a wing walk in July…what will your challenge be?
